Social Activities

The EPEA arranges a variety of Social Activities throughout the year and traditionally include:

The Autumn Event – a social evening for residents that usually takes the form of a Quiz Evening & Fish ‘n’ Chip Supper – Normally held in October or early November. Other kinds of event have been tried but without great success. Fresh suggestions welcome!

Carol Singing – An hour or so of enthusiastic (and sometimes even tuneful) singing of popular Carols around the Estate to get us in the mood for Christmas! Rounded off with Mulled Wine and Mince Pies – the perfect start to the festivities (well, if a trip to the Caribbean is out of the question!)

Egg Hunt – A great way to walk off the Easter Sunday lunch! A modest entry fee guarantees a Chocolate Egg for every child who enters. Held in Eastcote Park House grounds on Easter Sunday each year. We encourage the adults to take a bag to collect rubbish during the hunt so it has a practical and environmentally beneficial aspect too!

Newsletters (at least once a year) give details of coming events, as does this website.

The Annual General Meeting – is held in May each year. The Committee and Officers are elected at this meeting. Generally we try to offer a guest speaker to give a short talk after the main business has been transacted, over coffee and tea. All householders and residents of the Estate are welcome. Please note that voting at the meeting is limited to one vote per household.
